Where Today's Waste Becomes Tomorrow's Fuel

Turning Waste into Fuel

At Decycle, we harness the power of the economy's waste to fuel its future. By transforming discarded tyres, plastic waste, and used motor oil into valuable fuel, we aim to clean up our communities and provide affordable energy solutions by creating a circular economy that benefits both the environment and society.

About Us

Decycle is committed to addressing the pressing issue of waste management while providing sustainable and cost-effective fuel alternatives. We focus on:

Environmental Cleanup: Our innovative processes remove harmful waste from poor communities, improving living conditions and reducing pollution.

Sustainable Fuel Production: By converting waste into fuel, we offer a greener alternative that helps reduce reliance on traditional fossil fuels.

Economic Empowerment: Our solutions not only clean the environment but also create job opportunities and support local economies.

Our story

Decycle is the brainchild of Nanda Dulal Das Athmanandh, a dedicated young entrepreneur committed to addressing societal and environmental challenges in South Africa. Seeing the effects of plastic pollution in South Africa. Nanda wanted to find a solution to this plastic pollution and found this process to produce fuel from this waste. The process is an old process known as pyrolysis where the plastic, tyres and used motor oil is heated in the absence of oxygen forming a gas which is condensed and using a special distillation machine turns this “Pyrolysis oil” into Diesel and HFO (Heavy Fuel Oil). Decycle aims to create a circular economy where less advantaged people can use waste to feed themselves and provide cheap fuel to farmers and SMMEs.

Progress We Made

Decycle is currently in the process of registering and acquiring the required licenses. Decycle is also in the process of working acquire the funds to get the machinery and premises to set up shop.
